OUR STORY

Farika has been making delicious pies to gift to friends and loved ones every winter and festive season for over twenty years. Inspired by the classic French Canadian Tourtière, Grateful Pies have evolved over time from a dish inscribed in the pages of Farika’s grandmother’s recipe book, Milly Pearl O’Shea .

The act of sharing food is one of the most primal and significant ways to show love and friendship. Cooking for others is physically and emotionally nurturing, it’s also a ritual of celebration; of marking special occasions and the passing of time.

Meat-lovers, veggie-lovers and diverse palettes unite with a savoury plant-based twist on Tourtière. Made with aromatic spices, sumptuous lentil filling and flaky pastry, everyone can agree: one pie fits all.

The notion of gratitude is what we want Grateful Pies to embody for all.
